[01]ABSTRACT
Most small businesses have two or three points in the week where everything jams up.
We build AI into those points so the pressure comes off, and we price the work openly.
The one we are asked for most answers the same six questions every week. It writes those replies for you, in your own wording, and leaves them sitting in your inbox. You read one, change anything you want, and send it.
[02]INPUT
What comes in, and what goes back.
IN ›
Are ye open on the bank holiday Monday?
It replies with your hours for that particular weekend, including the ones that differ from an ordinary week, and says when you are back if you are shut.
IN ›
Do you come out as far as Piltown?
It sets out the area you cover, tells them which side of the line they are on, and where there is a call-out charge for that distance it says so before they have to ask.
IN ›
What would something like this cost?
For the work you do at a set rate, it gives the rate. For anything that has to be looked at first, it asks the two or three questions you would have asked anyway, so what comes back to you is enough to quote from.
IN ›
Have you anything free on Saturday?
It promises nothing. It explains how booking works and what you need from them, and it leaves the slot itself for you to confirm.
[03]OUTPUT
One draft, and the line you changed before it went.
The assistant drafts. It does not send. This is what that looks like: what it wrote, struck through, and what you put in its place.
Hi Marie, We are open on the bank holiday Monday, 12 to 9, and the kitchen runs the full menu all day.- We are closed the Tuesday after it.+ We are closed the Tuesday after it, back Wednesday at noon. If you want a table for the Monday I would book it, it goes early. Thanks, Dermot
We read the replies you have already sent, months of them, so the assistant learns how you word things, what you always mention and what you leave out.
We write down what it needs to know: your prices, your hours, the area you cover, the jobs you turn down, and who a question should go to when it is not one for you.
An enquiry comes in. A few minutes later the assistant has a draft reply waiting, addressed to that person and answering what they actually asked.
You read it, change a line if it needs one, and send it. The assistant drafts. It does not send.
[04]CONTROL
The reply goes out under your name.
So you are the one who reads it first. That is how it is set up and most clients leave it that way. It takes seconds, and it means nothing odd ever goes out over a question the draft read wrong.
Where the volume gets past the point of reading every draft, there is a tier in which we watch the inbox and send on your behalf, to rules agreed with you, with anything unusual held back for you.
[05]COST

If it is the same handful of questions every week, this is worth a conversation. If it is not, we will tell you that too.
