We read it and write back

One of us picks it up. You get either a straight answer, or the two or three questions we need to ask before we can give you one.
We talk it through

By email, or sitting at your kitchen table if you are near enough. You find out what the work involves, what it does not, and how long it takes.
You get it in writing

Scope, timeline and cost, set out plainly, so you can say yes or no with the whole thing in front of you. Nothing starts before you agree to it.
